You just looked at the stock performances for 2025 and noted the stocks that returned more than 100% for the year.
Money minded and starry eyed, you want a piece of the pie.
Is there a book out there that addresses this question?
You would bow to the sensei if there were!
Caveat
It would be irresponsible if this website were to promise you 580% returns (apparently Sandisk went up by that much throughout 2025).
Furthermore, it is nigh on the impossible to hand select a single stock that would top the rest of the pool of investment opportunities out there in the entire universe, in the coming 2026.
Suggested Book
Peter Lynch, however, wrote a book entitled One Up on Wall Street, that seems to suggest that he could indeed outperform the market.
Generally, his book focusses on select a diversified pool of growth stocks, based on qualitative and not quantitative assessments. Whilst there are more keys than that in the book, Peter Lynch had a track record (before he retired) that suggested that he had the business model for getting results from high growth stocks, that were greater than the average fund manager on Wall Street.
In connection with his book, many value investors blend in a small element of his book's lessons in their value investing style.
(To address the concern why growth investing methodogy is used to make value investing decisions, growth investing and value investing are said to be joined at the hip. Growth is an essential component in the calculation of intrinsic value.)
Read Peter Lynch's stories about his investing adventures, in One Up on Wall Street. This book suggests how even you, a common person outside Wall Street, and even based outside of New York (and in Asia perhaps), could make it big.
